Meet local fisherman Jim Conohan and hear his stories of his life on the sea. Jim will show you how to tong for oysters with a demonstration that takes place in an oyster dory affixed to the deck.

Learn about the growth and life cycle of PEI oysters and the proper size for harvest. Learn how to shuck & feast on PEI fresh oysters.

Included with the experience are up to two dozen (24) oysters per guest, water, tea or coffee, and a truffle.

  • This experience is not recommended if you are allergic to oysters, or shellfish
  • This experience is recommended for Adults and Children 12 and older. No children’s menu is offered with this experience.

Additional Terms & Other Information

  • Bookings need to be made 24 hours in advance of the desired date in order to guarantee a spot.
  • A minimum of 2 people must book in order for this experience to take place. We will accept reservations for 1 person but if more people have not booked by 24 hours before the event, it will be cancelled (you will be refunded).
  • Guests are asked not to arrive more than 15 minutes before the experience is scheduled.
